REGISTRATIONS RELAY

Athletes have to be born until 31th December 2002 at the latest.

The athlete born in 2001/2002 can realize only one of the 3 disciplines

Registrations include :

No request of refund can be treated in case of cancellation

Registrations :

  • License holders FFTRI
    • Registrations fees (team) : 54 € + 1 € treatment costs per athlete
  • NOT license holders FFTRI
    • Registrations fees (team) : 54 € + 1 € treatment costs per athlet + 5 € Day Pass FFTRI (not license holders).
    • Relay : FFN (swim), FFC (bike), FFA (run), are accepted in the discipline concerned, no medical certificate and no Day pass are required, but you have to submit your license.
    • Not license holders have to fill out the DAY PASS form, and to present a medical certificate of not contraindication to the practice of the Triathlon in competition, dating less than six months (Day pass).
    • The presentation of original license or medical certificate for the not license holders, will be required during the retreat of numbers. ;

PLEASE NOTE : By registering on the Natureman Var Triathlon (), you allow a free and unconditional use of your image, voice and name to other publications in any form : Video, audio, press, internet, press release or advertising relevant to the triathlon Verdon.

Day PASS for the not license holders

Day Pass for the NOT license holders : 5 € a medical certificate of not contraindication to the practice of the Triathlon in competition, dating less than one year.

PLEASE NOTE : Not license holders have to fill out the DAY PASS form, and to present a medical certificate of not contraindication to the practice of the Triathlon in competition, dating less than one year (Day pass). The presentation of originals license or medical certificate for the not license holders, will be required during the distribution of numbers.

Relais :

RELAY : FFN (swim), FFC (bike), FFA (run), are accepted in the discipline concerned, no medical certificate and no Day pass are required, but you have to submit your license.

Concerning the relays, the swimmer must pass his timing chip to the cyclist and the put it on the left ankle, same transition with the runner.

IMPORTANT : Les triathlètes NON licenciés doivent remplir le formulaire PASS journée FFTRI ci-joint et présenter un certificat médical, impérativement noté : non contre-indication de la pratique du triathlon en compétition, daté de moins de un an à la date l'épreuve (soit maxi 3 octobre 2016).

 

[ Course ]

SWIM

  • 1 loop of 700 m.
  • Horaire limite de sortie du parc vélo : 11h40.
  • Athletes will execute a unique loop of 700 m in the lake of Sainte-Croix at les Salles-sur-Verdon vilage. Lake which average temperature for this period is about 19/21°C (20.5° 2014, 19° 2015, 20° 2016). The wetsuit is recommended.
  • Start relays : 11h05.

BIKE

  • 1 loop of 25 km.
  • There is no aid station on the bike route.
  • The bike route is hilly, quite full of dips and rises. The route passes trough the village of Aiguines, and comes down to les Salles sur Verdon.

RUN

  • 1 loop of 5 km.
  • The 5 km run course will take place along the lake.
  • You will find 1 aid station km 2.5. It will offer water and energetic drinks Punch Power

 

 

[ Regulations ]

is composed of 3 races : 700 m swim – 25 km bike - 5 km run

Les inscriptions on NATUREMAN-VERDON.COM from 10th november 2016 :

  • Individual race : 600 athletes
  • Team race (2 or 3 athletes) : 80 teams
  • Athletes have to be born until 31 December 2001 at the latest.
  • Distribution of numbers : From 3pm to 6pm Friday 6th october 2017 and from 8am to 10am Saturday 7 October 2017, no registration on site, if you are absent, no refund can be treated.
  • Registrations are definitives. In case of cancellation or non-participation, no reimbursement will be possible.

Briefing

A briefing will be sent to you by email 10 days before the event.

The timing chip must be worn around the left ankle during the race. It must be returned in exchange for the bike at the bike park at the end of the race.

Athletes will receive a wristband during the registration/distribution of numbers. They must constantly wear this wristband.

The biker needs to use the stickers on the bike and helmet (one on the seat post of your bike, and the other in front of your helmet).

Start numbers and race stickers may not be reduced in size or altered and must be visible at all times.

The competitors must take race provisions only at the designated aid stations provided by the organizers.

Athletes must respect the environment at all times, under penalty of immediate sanctions (disqualification).

The awards ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, October 6, 2017 at 2:00pm in the expo village at les Salles-sur-Verdon.

There is no cut-off times.

In case of climate catastrophe no request of refund can be treated.

The bearing of the wetsuit is recommended if the temperature is superior in 24°C.

The bearing of the swimcap supplied by the organization is compulsory. It is recommended not to wear the bib during the swim race.

Athletes must leave at their place (bike park) only bike and run equipment, without disturbing other competitors.

Athletes are allowed to mount their bike only after having left the bike park, after the white line. They have to dismount the bike before he enters the bike park, until the line.

Material prizes which are not collected during the Awards Ceremony are forfeited.

The organizers reserve the right to reject registrations for reasons important to them.

Competitors disqualified because of evident fraud will not be allowed to start in the Natureman Var again.

Any outside help: support, supplies, technical assistance and material support by anyone outside of the race or another competitor are forbidden.

Competitors must respect eco-zones for throwing away their waste, under penalty of immediate disqualification.

In case of penalty, a tent "penalty box" will be located at the exit of the transition area and must be done before going to run.

The arbitrators' decisions are final, no protests will be admissible.

The court of arbitration determines the final race results, subject to doping reports still outstanding.

The determined results are final. They are not subject to appeal in a court of law.

Any identity usurpation willbe sanctioned by disqualification.

Responsability

The organizer disclaims all liability for the risks of health incurred by the participant because of his participation in the event. The participant declares to have a perfect knowledge of the fact that the participation in the event entails serious risks of health which can go until the death of the participant. The participant confirms and agrees that he is solely responsible for whether his condition allows him to participate in the event. He further states that no doctor or any equivalent advised him not to compete in the event.

The participant is solely responsible for his personal effects and for his sports equipment.

The participant declares that he has knowledge of the fact that he can meet vehicles and/or pedestrians on the route and that he accepts the risks bound to these circumstances on the occasion of the participation in the race. · The participant notes the fact that there are the following risks bound to the participation in the competition, being understood that this list is not restrictive: risk of falls, collision with vehicles, pedestrians, other participants and/or objects; risks bound to the state of the ground, the technical incidents and the failure of equipment, insufficiency of the protection equipment; risks and dangers caused by the spectators, the volunteers or bad weather. The registration in the event is worth acceptance on behalf of the participant of routes such as they will have been fixed. The participant agrees to familiarize himself with the routes and the transition areas before the event.

Image rights

The athletes authorize the organizer, partners of the event and media to use the fixed or audiovisual images on which they could appear during the event (CD, DVD, radio, television, webcast, film, advertising, press release, communication supports etc...) its name, its voice and its sports performance without limit in time and place. It is specified that the right broadcasting relative to the competition belongs exclusively to the organizer.

YOUR FIRST TRIATHLON

Some tips :

  • Rules and regulations :
  • When you enter the bike park, submit to arbitrators with your helmet on the head with chin strap closed.

  • Put the timing chip on your left ankle.
  • It is MANDATORY to have your number on the left arm andon the left leg at the entrance to the transition area.
  • Do not cycle on the bike park.
  • The bib must be placed in the back and clearly legible (use pins or race belt)
  • On the bike park, your bike, clothes and equipements should be stored and should not spill over into the neighboring space.
  • Please note : nudity is strictly prohibited in the transition area.

The race will follow the rules :

Beginning of the race :

  • Competitors will meet in the bike park 15 minutes before departure to listen to the safety instructions.
  • You will recieve a bag with your bib number at the distribution of numbers.
  • In the bike park you will let clothes and equiments necessary for the bike and run courses (shoes and clothes for the bike course / T-shirt / shoes for the run course etc...)

Swim :

  • You have to swim a unique loop of 700m.
  • It is mandatory to wear the swim cap provided by the organizer. The number must be worn on your LEFT.
  • 10h59 - Départ paratriatlète.
  • 11h00 - The start is in a single wave.
  • Horaire limite de sortie du parc vélo : 11h40.

Bike :

  • You can't ride your bike in the park, carry it by hand . You can get on your bike only outside the bike park.
  • Some people will secure the road, but you must respect the Highway Code and be very careful. Please ride at the right side of the road. It is forbidden to cross the white line or to cut corners.
  • The course is small, there will be no aid stations. The entire route is done on paved road.
  • Competitors can't rely on outside help. The support and help by a third party is prohibited.
  • Please, respect nature and the environment and do not throw trash on public roads and paths. The arbitrators will sanction competitors by disqualification.
  • After finishing the bike course, you go back in the bike park. It is mandatory to get off the bike at the entrance to the bike park. You will return with your bike by hand and will deposit it at the place corresponding to your race number. The helmet must remain closed until the bike deposit.

Run :

  • You will find an aid station at the bike park exit.
  • Aid stations will be composed of : water, energetic drinks, gels, energetic bars.
  • Do not throw waste or paper outside of the waste recovery zones located after the aid stations. It will be punished by the arbitrators by disqualification.
  • Bibs and numbers must be visible and worn on the chest. If you worn it on a belt, positioned it at the waist.

End of the race :

  • Athletes will find drinks and food after the finish line, in the area reserved for athletes. The wristband with the timing chip must be returned and will be collected when you will leave the finish area.
  • The awards ceremony is scheduled for Saturday October 7th 2017, 2pm, at the Expo village.
